th at 12 p.m. with game two on Saturday at 2 p.m. and game three on Sunday at 1 p.m.
Series History

About Wichita State
Wichita State enters this season following a 30-25 season including 13-10 in American Athletic Conference play. Entering this year, the Shockers find themselves number 7 in the AAC preseason polls. It will be a brand new look for Wichita State as only 11 players return from the 2023 squad. On top of a new squad, this is year number 1 for head coach Brian Green.
Familiar Faces
In contrast to last year, the Trojans return 96% of batters and 84% of innings pitched from the 2023 squad. This seasoned squad includes four members of the OVC Preseason All-Conference Team (
Tyler Williams,
Skyler Trevino,
Nico Baumbach, and OVC Preseason Pitcher of the Year
Jackson Wells). Other notable returners include
Jake Wright,
Noah Brewer,
Ty Rhoades,
Jacob Weatherley and
Christian Bernabe.
A Decade in the Capitol City
The 2024 season marks 10 years since
Chris Curry arrived in Little Rock. Since his arrival, Curry has earned the most conference wins
and the most winning conference seasons all-time of any Little Rock Baseball head coach. With expectations as high as they've ever been, Curry is ready to get the 2024 season underway with his team.
