Little Rock Takes Game Two Against Morehead State

Box Score LITTLE ROCK-  Little Rock takes game two against Morehead to clinch the series in the first weekend of conference play. Trojans improve to 13-10 on the year and 2-0 in OVC play.

How It Happened

• Little Rock opened the game with a 6-run inning with RBIs from Tyler Williams, Skyler Trevino, Ben Harmon, Noah Brewer, and a 2-run home run from Jake Wright
• Morehead responded with 3 runs including back-to-back home runs in the fourth and a single run in the sixth
• Trojans scored 2 2-run innings in the 7th and 8th
• Morehead rallied for a 4-run inning in the ninth

Key Players

• Nico Baumbach went 5/5 with 3 doubles and 1 RBI
• Ben Harmon was a home run away from hitting for the cycle going 3/4 with 2 RBI
• Jake Wright hit the first home run of the weekend with a 405 foot 2-run shot over left center
• Jackson Wells pitched 5.0 innings and earned his second win of the season

The Trojans return to Gary Hogan Field tomorrow at 1 p.m. for a chance to sweep the series and go 3-0 in conference play.
