WEST POINT, Mississippi — The Little Rock Men's Golf team settled in Monday after a tough opening round to improve by seven strokes in Round 2 on the first day of the Mossy Oak Collegiate. The Trojans are 14
th in the team standings but just seven strokes out of the Top 10 heading into Tuesday's final round.

Little Rock fired a first round 297 (9-over) but improved in the second round for a 290 (2-over) and sit at 11-over (587). Second-ranked Auburn (35-under) holds a huge lead over Cincinnati (12-under) and fifth-ranked Ole Miss (11-under) after Day One.

Rhett South led the Trojans on Monday with rounds of 75 and 69 to sit at Even (144) thru two rounds. South made five birdies in the second round, turning in a 3-under 69, and helping the Trojans stay within striking distance of the Top 10.

Jansen Smith also went 3-under 69 in the second round with four birdies after an opening round 77. Smith's two-round total is 2-over 146.
Matteo Cristoni sits at 4-over 148 (72-76),
Magnus Lomholt is 7-over 151 (75-76) and
Archie Smith is 13-over with rounds of 75 and 82.
