Trojans set to race with announcement of 2024 Cross Country schedule

The Little Rock Cross Country teams will begin the 2024 season just a few minutes from home on a hot August morning, but hope to end it on a chilly winter day in Wisconsin as the program officially announces its schedule for the upcoming season.

It all gets started Saturday, Aug. 31 in Conway at the Central Arkansas Invitational, also part of the Governor's I-40 Showdown. Two weeks later (Sept. 13) the Trojans are in Searcy to compete in Harding's Steve Guymon Invitational, and September ends with a trip to Stillwater, Okla. for the Cowboy Jamboree hosted by Oklahoma State on Saturday, Sept. 28.

Little Rock will have just one competition in October at the Crimson Classic in Tuscaloosa, Ala. on Friday, Oct. 18. That marks the final meet prior to the OVC Championships on Friday, Nov. 1. This year's conference championship will be hosted by UT Martin.

The NCAA South Central Regional is slated for Nov. 15 in College Station, Tex., and the NCAA Championships are Nov. 23 in Verona, Wis.
