The Little Rock Men's Golf team is geared up for another competitive season and will get the 2024-25 season started Sunday at the Argent financial Classic, hosted by Louisiana Tech University at Squire Creek Country Club in Choudrant, La. The three-day event runs from Sunday thru Tuesday.

"I'm excited to get this season started. We've had multiple good performances from everybody on the team this summer and will have a very competitive team all the way through the roster," said Little Rock head coach
Austin Eoff. "We have five new additions to the team this year with three of these ranked inside the Top 600 in the World Amateur Golf Rankings."

Little Rock's opening lineup will feature a combination of returning lettermen with some of those new faces.

Rhett South each return after All-OVC seasons. Transfer
Lukas Roessler and freshman
Freddie Turnell will round out the starting five this week after both had incredibly strong performances this summer."

The Trojans will compete on the 7,105-yard Par 72 course against the following teams – Louisiana Tech, South Alabama, Houston, Louisiana-Lafayette, Rice, Middle Tennessee, North Texas, UAB, Southern Miss, Abilene Christian, Nicholls, Troy, Lamar, Western Kentucky, Jacksonville State, and ULM.

Little Rock is competing in the event for the 13
th time, having first entered this event in 2003 while last competing in 2021. The Trojans won the event in 2003, but posted a 54-hole best score of 862 in their most recent appearance.
