LEADERBOARD
Â
Little Rock is sixth at 3-over but just two strokes behind fifth-place Troy and five back of co-leaders South Alabama and Rice.
Â
"We grinded it out in some tougher conditions with the colder temps and 10-15 mph winds this morning. Holes 2 and 7 were challenging for us today given we were in great positions, but we are ready to get after it tomorrow. It's a very bunched leaderboard and a great opportunity to move up the board." — Little Rock head coach Austin Eoff
Â
Archie Smith (19
th) fired the top round for the Trojans on Sunday, finishing with an even round with four birdies.
Lukas Roessler (four birdies),
Rhett South and
Matteo Cristoni are all just one stroke behind Smith at 1-over.
Freddie Turnell finished his first collegiate round at 5-over.
Â
Turnell will tee off the second round Monday at 10:30 am, Roessler will follow at 10:40, Cristoni at 10:50, South at 11 am and Smith at 11:10 am.
