BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – For the second straight week, a Trojan has earned
Ohio Valley Conference Female Golfer of the Week honors. This week, the recognition goes to
sophomore Cloé Poizac, following
junior Eleonore Aernouts'selection last week.
"It's a great honor for our players to win in back-to-back weeks," said Little Rock head coach
Jenna Birch. "Cloe played really well in the tournament and finished strong in the final round to move into the top 20."
Poizac finished
1-over par at the
Diamante Intercollegiate, hosted by the Trojans at
Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs Village. She tied for
19th alongside Aernouts as
Little Rock placed
eighth in a competitive field.
The
Marseille, France, native carded the Trojans' best round of the three-day event with a
3-under performance during Tuesday's final round.
"I feel like I've been putting the work in, and now I'm finally getting rewarded for it," Poizac said. "Thank you so much to everyone who's supported us - it really means a lot. Go Trojans!"
