SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Ed Featherstone led the Trojans at the Fighting Irish Invitational Tuesday, finishing as Little Rock's top performer in the final event of the fall.
The sophomore carded a 1-over 71 in the final round to close the tournament at 1-over overall, climbing eight spots to finish 12th.
Viggo Talasmaki, who got off to a strong start Monday, placed 21st at 3-over.
Rhett South turned in his best performance of the week with a 1-under 69 on Tuesday, jumping 23 spots to finish 29th. South's round included four birdies over the final 18 holes.
Rain delayed tee times Tuesday morning, adding another layer of difficulty to the Warren Golf Club course.
"It was a good final round by Rhett today in the rain," said head coach
Austin Eoff. "Ed had another really solid day, and Viggo put together some great rounds this week."
The Trojans will wrap up the fall season next week, hosting the two-day Everett Buick GMC Invitational at Chenal Country Club in Little Rock.
"We've got a few days of prep before our home event," Eoff added. "There's still short-game work to do if we're going to compete at the level we're capable of."
