Trojans Cap Competitive Season with Grit in OVC Semifinals

COOKEVILLE, TN.- Little Rock wrapped up another impressive season Thursday night in a hard-fought 2-1 semifinal matchup against #3 seed Lindenwood in Cookeville.

Senior midfielder Amaya Arias gave the Trojans an early spark, scoring in the 12th minute off an assist from senior defender Candice Kilderry. Little Rock outshot the Lions 17–12 and held a 7–4 advantage in corner kicks, controlling much of the first half and generating several dangerous looks at goal.

The Trojans continued to battle through a physical contest, showing resilience and determination that have defined their season.

"I'm gutted for our team. They had a tremendous run and I thought they deserved more. It's really unfortunate when officiating impacts the game, especially in postseason play. I am incredibly proud of this team for the wonderful things that they accomplished this season and the growth that we have seen. I know this result and the way that it transpired will light a fire under me and our players. We are looking forward to competing for a championship in 2026," said Head Coach Kelly Farrell.

Little Rock closes the year as the OVC's No. 2 seed for the second straight season, continuing to build a championship-caliber foundation for 2026.
