Despite the winter storm that recently impacted central Arkansas, the scheduled Little Rock women's and men's basketball doubleheader against Lindenwood on Thursday will remain unchanged. The women's game will tip off at 5 p.m. as planned, with the men's game to follow 30 minutes after the completion of the first game.
"We urge all Trojan Basketball fans to exercise caution and prioritize safety when coming to the arena in these challenging winter conditions," said Little Rock Director of Athletics
Frank M. Cuervo. "We understand the excitement surrounding the game, but the safety of our fans is our top priority. Please take your time, drive carefully, and follow the adjusted parking and entry procedures. Together, we can ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone as we cheer on the Trojans!"
Due to icy conditions affecting the parking lots and sidewalks, there will be changes to procedures at the Jack Stephens Center.
As a safety measure, all fans are required to park in Lot 13 East at the Jack Stephens Center. To access this lot, fans should turn off University Avenue and enter campus via West 28th Street. Once on West 28th, take the fourth driveway on the left to access the lot. There will be plenty of available parking, including designated handicap spots.
Additionally, all fans must enter the Jack Stephens Center through the Rick and Mary Edwards Family Entrance on the east side of the arena. This entrance will also serve as the location for purchasing tickets and picking up tickets at Will Call.
We encourage all fans to allow extra time for travel and parking due to the weather conditions. Safety remains our top priority, and we look forward to seeing you at the game!
