EUGENE, OR. –The University of Arkansas at Little Rock men's golf team wrapped up Day 1 of the Duck Invite on Monday at Eugene Country Club.
Archie Smith leads the Trojans, sitting in a tie for seventh place on the leaderboard, while teammate
Matteo Cristoni follows closely behind in 11th. As a team, the Trojans currently sit in sixth place with a combined score of 567 (-1).

Smith boasted rounds of 70 (-1) and 68 (-3) to fire a 138 (-4). He piled up eight birdies on the day, positioning himself tied for seventh heading into the final round.
Cristoni, who shares 11th place, carded a 69 (-2) followed by a 70 (-1) for a two-round total of 139 (-3). He recorded seven birdies.
Freddie Turnell is tied for 44th at 146 (+4). He registered rounds of 69 (-2) and 77 (+6), featuring five birdies.
Rhett South rounded out the counted scores for Little Rock, tying for 54th with a total of 147 (+5), which included five birdies.
Ed Featherstone is tied for 86th at 155 (+13). He shot scores of 81 (+10) and 74 (+3), recording four birdies.
Individual
Phisher Phillips is tied for 58th at 148 (+6). He shot rounds of 75 (+4) and 73 (+2), carding six birdies on the day.
Oregon leads the team standings at 558 (-10), followed by St. Mary's in second at 559 (-9), with Wyoming rounding out the top three at 562 (-6).
The third and final round gets underway on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m.
