"Fantastic week from Archie and Matteo to really carry us to a 4th place finish. Both guys played great all week. The course conditions were soft and very spinny and Matteo put on a spin control clinic while Archie hit it solid and was very tidy around the greens. Really proud of how each of these guys handled themselves on the golf course this week." said head coach Austin Eoff on the performances of the two seniors.

"As a team the rest of the guys just had too many mistakes which hurts given the bunched leaderboard and only losing to Oregon by 6 shots. We have got to clean up the little things (bogeys on par 5s, 3 putts, and ball control) if we want to compete with the best at Stanford."

"We have a quick turnaround and head to Stanford tonight for the practice round tomorrow against one of college golf's best fields that features 13 top 50 programs."

Colorado State shared second place with Wyoming, both posting scores of 845 (-7), while St. Mary's rounded out the top five with a score of 851 (-1).

Archie Smith continued to lead the Trojans, finishing tied for sixth overall. He fired a final-round 70 (-1), giving him a three-round total of 208 (-5). Matteo Cristoni placed T8th at 209 (-4) after carding a final-round 70 (-1).

Rhett South had a solid final round, shooting 71 (E) to finish tied for 39th with a total score of 218 (+5). Freddie Turnell shared the tie, shooting 72 (+1) in his final round to also end up with a total score of 218 (+5), rounding out the Trojan scorers.

Ed Featherstone finished tied for 80th with a total score of 230 (+17) after posting a Round 3 score of 75 (+4).

Competing individually, Phisher Phillips finished tied for 55th after shooting 73 (+2) in his final round, closing with an overall score of 221 (+8).
