CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Little Rock Men's Golf team is set to tee off at the 2025 Ohio Valley Conference Championship this weekend, held April 20–23 at Dalhousie Golf Club in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The championship returns to the venue for the third time, having previously hosted the event in 2022 and 2023.
TEE TIMES | STROKE PLAY | MATCH PLAY
The tournament will begin with three rounds of stroke play, followed by a final day of Match Play for the top four teams on Tuesday, April 23. Official play is scheduled to begin Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m, with the Trojans set to tee off starting at 10:20 a.m.
Little Rock was well represented in the 2024–25 Ohio Valley Conference men's golf awards, with five Trojans earning conference honors ahead of this year's championship. Matteo Cristoni, Archie Smith, and Freddie Turnell were named to the All-OVC First Team, marking repeat selections for Cristoni and Smith. Rhett South earned a spot on the All-OVC Second Team for the second consecutive season, joined by teammate Ed Featherstone. Turnell and Featherstone were also recognized on the OVC All-Newcomer Team, underscoring their immediate impact in their debut seasons with the Trojans.
Little Rock will face off against 10 other OVC programs: Bryant, Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, Morehead State, SIUE, Southern Indiana, Tennessee State, Tennessee Tech, UT Martin, and Western Illinois. The 2025 championship marks the debut appearance for affiliate member Bryant.
Dalhousie Golf Club, a Nicklaus-designed course, offers a championship-caliber layout featuring undulating terrain, old growth forests, scenic water holes, and distinctive green complexes. Consistently ranked the top course in Missouri by Golf Digest, the par-72 layout will play between 6,856 and 7,154 yards for the event.
