LA QUINTA, Calif. – The Little Rock men's golf team completed the second round of The Prestige on Tuesday at PGA West and will enter Wednesday's final round looking to climb the leaderboard against one of the nation's premier fields.
The Trojans are currently 15th overall at 19-over par heading into the final 18 holes of competition.
Freshman Viggo Talasmäki continues to lead the way for Little Rock, sitting in a tie for 16th place at one-over par. After opening the tournament near the top of the leaderboard, Talasmäki carded a four-over round on Tuesday but remains in strong position among a highly competitive field.
Ed Featherstone turned in Little Rock's low round of the day, shooting a three-over-par 74. He is currently tied for 50th place at five-over par for the tournament.
Senior
Rhett South is tied for 55th at six-over par, while
Mark Stockdale posted a four-over round on Tuesday and sits at eight-over par overall, tied for 66th place.
The Trojans will look to finish strong in Wednesday's final round as they continue competing against many of the nation's top collegiate programs.
