RUSTON, La. – One final road test stands between Little Rock and a return to Gary Hogan Field.
The Trojans (20-16) close out a nine-game road swing Tuesday night with a 6 p.m. matchup at Louisiana Tech (21-16) at J.C. Love Field at Pat Patterson Park.
The Bulldogs enter the contest fifth in Conference USA at 9-6 and riding a six-game winning streak.

TROJAN TIDBITS
• Little Rock returns home this weekend for a critical OVC series against Eastern Illinois. The Panthers enter tied for first with SIUE at 10-2, while the Trojans sit tied for third at 8-4, just two games back. The series begins Friday at 6 p.m., followed by a 4 p.m. start Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday finale.
• The Trojans will also host UT Rio Grande Valley for a two-game midweek set next Tuesday and Wednesday at Gary Hogan Field.

Brannon Westmoreland delivered one of his best outings of the season in Friday's 3-0 win over SIUE, allowing just three hits over nearly eight innings. He retired nine consecutive batters during the outing and eclipsed the 100-pitch mark.

Nic Bronzini made his first conference start Sunday against SIUE, working three innings with five strikeouts. The right-hander opened the game with three consecutive strikeouts as part of a planned short outing after a midweek appearance at Arkansas.

• Louisiana Tech enters Tuesday on a six-game winning streak after taking two of three at FIU, defeating Northwestern State midweek and sweeping Middle Tennessee at home.

• Grad infielder Colby Lunsford leads the team with a .314 average, adding nine home runs and 32 RBI.
