MACOMB, Ill. – Riding early momentum in Ohio Valley Conference play, Little Rock hits the road this weekend for a three-game series at Western Illinois beginning Friday at Alfred D. Boyer Stadium.
Originally slated for Thursday-Saturday, the series shifts back to a traditional Friday-Sunday format due to weather. First pitch is set for 2 p.m. Friday, with 1 p.m. starts scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday.
The Trojans (17-12, 5-1) enter the weekend tied for second place in the OVC and looking to build on a strong start in league play. Western Illinois (7-20, 2-4) sits seventh in the standings but showed its potential with a win over SEMO last weekend.
