- Louisiana Tech (6-1-1) scored the only goal of the match for either team
shortly after halftime to give the Lady Techsters a 1-0 win over UALR (0-6-0)
on Friday at the Lady Techster Soccer Complex. Emily Brennan netted her fourth
score of the year off a feed from Nicole Jaquemet at the 47:11 mark, while the Louisiana
Tech defense kept UALR off the scoreboard for the remainder of the match.
The Lady Techsters led in total shots 23-2, including
9-0 in shots on goal. Andrea Wend and Paige Dunn led Louisiana Tech with four
shots each on the night. Four other Tech players put up a pair of shots.

Asuncion was responsible for both UALR shots on Friday.

Wittke played arguably her best match of the season in the loss, stopping
eight shots, including six in the first half, while allowing just one score in
90:00 of work.
Louisiana Tech put up 10 shots in the opening half
before tacking on another 13 after intermission. Each of Asuncion's shots came
in the first half.
The Lady Techsters led in corner kicks, 8-0.
UALR returns to the Coleman Sports & Recreation
Complex on Sunday for a matchup with UAPB. First kick is slated for 2 p.m.
