Little Rock Women's Golf Classic History
This week's tournament marks the 12th annual event in Hot Springs Village, dating back to the fall of 2007. It has become one of the most unique events in the country as the competitors stay with local residents in the community, allowing Hot Springs Village to truly embrace the tournament as their own. Little Rock has won the event three times (2007, 2009, 2010) with Missouri State winning it in both 2015 and 2017 to be the only other repeat winner. The Bears hold the team low tournament score, posting an 887 in 2015, while UTEP's Gerina Mendoza Piller, who now plays on the LPGA tour, holds the individual tournament record with a 207 at the inaugural event in 2007.
