LITTLE ROCK – The Little Rock women's basketball team will host the Big 12 Conference's Kansas State Wildcats on Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. at the Jack Stephens Center.

This will be the Trojans' fourth contest against the Wildcats since first meeting in 1987, and it will be Kansas State's first-ever visit to Little Rock.

Little Rock's only win over K-State occurred in the Trojans' final non-Division I season in 1987-88. Under then-head coach
Van Compton, the Trojans defeated the Wildcats 62-59 on the road in Manhattan, Kansas.

Little Rock and Kansas State met last season in Manhattan and saw the Wildcats earn a 66-51 victory over the Trojans.
Raeyana DeGray led Little Rock with 14 points and eight rebounds in a game-high 38 minutes.

Kansas State ended the 2017-18 season with an overall record of 18-16 and a Big 12 record of 7-11 before advancing to the WNIT. The Wildcats tied with Iowa State for seventh in the Big 12 standings.

In the WNIT, K-State defeated Saint Louis 75-61 before taking down Utah by a score of 74-57. In the third round, the Wildcats came up short against UC Davis by a score of 71-69.

The Wildcats will return eight players from last season's roster, including All-Big 12 Second Team member Kayla Goth, who led K-State with 17.5 points per game and 6.65 assists.

Kansas State will be the third Power 5 school to visit Little Rock during the 2018-19 season as Mississippi State and Texas A&M will visit the Trojans in late November.
