Arola Aparicio Gili was stellar in the Trojans' two opening matches, netting a goal in each game and also tallying an assist. The Spanish forward has been extremely efficient, needing only two shots to score her two goals for a perfect 1.000 shot-on-goal percentage. Doro Greulich also impressed in the opening weekend. The 2017 First Team All-Sun Belt selection recorded a goal and an assist over the weekend while firing eight shots. Goalkeeper Sara Johannsdottir has also been a bright spot for the Trojans, making five saves against Central Arkansas and racking up nine total saves against Kentucky. Her presence between the posts has given Little Rock some confidence in the defense.

Last Time Out
In the first match of the season, the Trojans played out all 110 minutes and came out with 1-1 draw. Little Rock scored the opening goal of the match before the Bears quickly found an equalizer. Central Arkansas created majority of the scoring opportunities for the remainder of the match and the Trojans left the pitch with a solid result. Little Rock fell victim to the golden goal in the second overtime against Kentucky. The Trojans led the match until the 83rd minute when they conceded a penalty which the Wildcats converted. An impressive goal from a Kentucky's Hollie Olding gave the Wildcats the road victory.

Scouting the Bears
Missouri State has started their season in winning fashion, posting a 2-0 record in their first two games. The Bears picked up a 1-0 win over Western Illinois before grabbing a 3-2 overtime win against Tulsa. Jordan Eickelman has led the way for the Bears, scoring two goals in their match against Tulsa.

Scouting the Golden Lions
UAPB will open their season with their game against Little Rock. The Golden Lions posted a 2-13-1 record in 2017 with a 2-7-1 record in the SWAC. Series History
Little Rock's matchup with Missouri State marks the 20th in the teams' history. The Bears hold a 14-5 advantage, however, the Trojans won last year's meeting 2-0 at home. Little Rock currently leads the all-time series with UAPB 9-1 as the teams head into their 11th all-time meeting. The Trojans found themselves on the winning end last season when they picked up a 3-0 victory over the Golden Lions.
