MOBILE, Ala. – Junior
Emelie Blennow tied for sixth overall at the USA Intercollegiate in Mobile, helping lead Little Rock to a 10th-place showing. The Trojans shot a 12-over 300 over the final round, closing out the three-day event with a 23-over 887.

Blennow, who entered the day at 2-under par, finished where she started after carding an even-par 72, setting a new career-best 54-hole tournament total with a 2-under 214. That mark ties for the sixth-lowest individual 54-hole score in program history and is the lowest Trojan score since
Stina Resen's 212 in 2014-15.
The sixth-place showing for Blennow is the fourth top-10 showing of her Trojan career and first of the season. Shooting at par-or-better in two of the three rounds on the weekend, she ups her career total to seven, including her new career-low 69 set in round one.
Freshman
Tilde Bocker ranked second on the Trojan scorecard with a 6-over 222, shooting a 5-over 77 over the final 18 holes and tying for 34th individually. She finished three shots ahead of fellow freshman
Malena Austerslaatt's 9-over 225, including a 2-over 74 over the final round, as Austerslaatt tied for 44th in her first official tournament for the Trojans.
Freshman
Sydney Scraba finished fourth among Little Rock competitors with a 13-over 229, finishing with a 5-over 77 in round three. Junior
Thea Wakeford-Wesmann closed out the Trojan scorecard with an 18-over 234, notching a 9-over 81 Monday.
As a team, Little Rock was the most efficient on the par-three holes, finishing at 3-over for the tournament with a 3.05 per-hole average.
Tilde Bocker found success on the short holes, finishing at 2-under for the event, with Blennow finishing at 2-under on both the par-four and par-five holes, ranking fourth among the 93 competitors on the par-fours.
Little Rock dropped two spots over the final 18 holes, settling into 10th with the 23-over 887, finishing seven shots ahead of Sun Belt Conference foe Georgia State's 30-over 894. The Trojans were six shots back of Stetson (17-over 881) and seven strokes behind host South Alabama (16-over 880).
Cal Baptist captured the team title at the USA Intercollegiate at 4-under 860, besting second-place South Florida (2-over 866) by six shots. Western Kentucky (4-over 868) placed third with Tulane (7-over 871), Southern Miss (8-over 872) and Houston Baptist (10-over 874) rounding out the top-six.
After playing two tournaments in a week's time, Little Rock will now have a little time off before returning to the course in early October. The Trojans will compete in the Johnie Imes Invitational, hosted by Missouri, October 1-3 at Old Hawthorne Country Club in Columbia, Missouri.
