Trojan Report
The Trojans are coming off a tough loss to Coastal Carolina in their first match of conference play. The match was moved to Kennesaw State University due to Hurricane Florence, which caused a change to their travel plans. Trojan Leaders
Liesa Seifert, last week's Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week, has shown good form as of late. The German defender scored from the penalty spot in the game against CCU and has still be a bright spot on the Trojan back line. Sairra Tucker also showed good form in the team's last match with her ability to beat defenders on the wing and create many scoring opportunities. Jaclyn Purvine still leads the team in goals with seven.

Last Time Out
In the only match of the weekend, the Trojans grabbed an early lead over conference opponent Coastal Carolina. A handball in the box gave Little Rock a penalty and Seifert converted from the spot. The second half would prove to be the demise of the Trojans. Little Rock fell victim to the penalty kick after fouling a CCU attacker in the box. Shortly after conceding the equalizer, the Chanticleers managed to take the lead after a great run by Baylee Price. The forward provided a good finish to seal the 2-1 result and the three points for her team.

Scouting the Panthers
Georgia State has struggled early in the season, posting a 2-7-1 record thus far. The Panthers dropped their first two Sun Belt matches, falling 2-0 to Georgia Southern and 1-0 to South Alabama. Georgia State has yet to score in conference play and have been outscored by their opponents 12-5. The Panthers have really struggled to put the ball in the back of the net as they have only scored in two of their 10 matches thus far. Brooke Shank leads their attack with three goals.

Series History
Little Rock's matchup with Georgia State marks the seventh in the teams' history. The Panthers will look to earn some points in conference play after dropping their first two matches. Little Rock holds a 4-1-1 advantage over Georgia State. Last season, the Trojans picked up 3-1 victory in Atlanta, Ga.

Looking Ahead
Next weekend, the Trojans will hit the road as they travel to San Marcos, Texas to take on Texas State on Friday, Sept. 28 before they head to Monroe, La. to play Louisiana-Monroe on Sunday, Sept. 30.
