Trojan Leaders
Sairra Tucker scored the lone goal for the Trojans in last week's victory over Georgia State. This was her first goal of the season and it came as a game-winner to earn the first three points in Sun Belt play for Little Rock. The senior winger has been very effective in the attacking third of the pitch with three assists and one goal on the season. Tucker has been a wide threat for the Trojans all season, finding space in behind defenders and creating goal-scoring opportunities for the forwards.
Arola Aparicio Gili created the goal for Tucker in the recent win, unselfishly laying the ball off for her teammate to tap into the back of the net.
Jaclyn Purvine still leads the way with seven goals for Little Rock, but has not scored in her previous two matches. She will look to improve her goal-scoring record this weekend.
Last Time Out
In the only match of the weekend, the Trojans struggled early on the offensive end. Both teams struggled to find any offensive rhythm in the stormy weather. However, Little Rock broke through in the 80
th minute and found the winner in their 1-0 win.
Doro Greulich did well to win a header and the ball would fall to Aparicio Gili who found Tucker in front of goal to provide the vital touch. Great defense the rest of the way was enough to help the Trojans hold on for the win.

Scouting the Bobcats
Texas State has started their season very well, posting a 5-5, (3-0 Sun Belt) record thus far. The Bobcats are perfect after the first three games of their conference schedule. In those three matches, they have only conceded one goal. Last weekend, Texas State traveled to Mobile, Ala. And grabbed a gritty 1-0 win over 2017 Sun Belt Champions South Alabama. The Bobcats have outscored their opponents 14-10 in their 10 games for a 1.4 goals per game average. They currently rank in the top three in the Sun Belt rankings for every offensive statistical category except goals per game. Bobcat striker Kaylee Davis has been stellar in front of goal as she is tied for the conference lead in goals with seven. Davis also leads the conference in shots, shots per game and goals per game.
Scouting the Warhawks
ULM has really struggled this season, posting an 0-10, (0-3 Sun Belt) record. The team has been outscored 37-4 as they have struggled in all areas of the pitch. The Warhawks have been shutout in six of their 10 matches thus far. This will be the second of two home matches this weekend for ULM as they look to pick up their first points of the season.
Series History
Little Rock's matchup with Texas State marks the sixth in the teams' history. The Trojans have never beaten the Bobcats as they hold a 5-0 all-time series lead. Little Rock suffered a heartbreaking 1-0 loss in overtime in the 2017 matchup between the teams. Little Rock has also struggled historically against ULM. The Warhawks current have hold a 7-1 advantage in the all-time series. The Trojans picked up a 2-1 win over ULM last season.
Looking Ahead
The Trojans will return to the Coleman Sports and Recreation Complex for another one-game weekend as they take on reigning Sun Belt Champions South Alabama Oct. 7 at 1 p.m.
