TROJANS AT THE JOHNIE IMES INVITATIONAL
Little Rock will be making its 10th appearance at the Johnie Imes Invitational, competing in the event each year since its inception except for 2007 and 2013. The Trojans have placed among the team top-10 six times, highlighted by a runner-up showing in 2008. Last season, Little Rock placed 11th, vaulting two spots over the final 18 holes, as
Sabrina Bonanno tied for 15th overall with a 4-over 220.
Â
LAST TIME OUT
Paced by
Emelie Blennow's 2-under 214, Little Rock finished 10th at the USA Intercollegiate in Mobile, Alabama. Blennow tied for sixth overall as her 214 is tied for the sixth-lowest tournament score in program history as she notched a pair of par-or-better rounds, highlighted by her 3-under 69 in round one.
Â
GOING LOW
Through the first two tournaments of the 2018-19 season, Little Rock golfers have already posted four par-or-better rounds on the year.
Emelie Blennow leads the way with two, shooting a 3-under 69 in round one of the USA Intercollegiate before an even-par 72 in round three. Freshman
Malena Austerslaatt notched an even-par 72 in round one in Mobile while fellow freshman
Tilde Bocker notched a 1-under 71.
