LITTLE ROCK – Ticket packages for the 2019 Sun Belt Conference Basketball Tournament in New Orleans are now on sale through the Little Rock ticket office.
Sun Belt Championship ticket booklets are available for $120 each. For just $105 more, VIP packages are also available for $225.
Additionally, TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Harahan, Louisiana, will serve as the official Little Rock Athletics fan hotel. Located at 5424 Citrus Boulevard, rooms can be secured in the Little Rock Athletics Fan Block for $149 per night by calling (504) 818-2400.
The format to this year's tournament has modified slightly from previous seasons. Instead of all 12 teams taking part in the tournament at Lakefront Arena, only 10 teams from both the men's and women's side will qualify for the Sun Belt tournament, and only eight of those teams will advance to New Orleans.
2019 Sun Belt Conference Tournament Schedule: Women | Men
The top six teams on both the men's and women's side automatically qualify for a spot in New Orleans and a pair of on-campus play-in games will determine the final two seeds.
Once the regular season has concluded, the number seven seed will host the number 10 seed while the number eight seed will host the number nine seed. Those games will occur on Monday, March 11 for the women and Tuesday, March 12 for the men.
The tournament then shifts to New Orleans where the women will play from Wednesday, March 13 to Saturday, March 16 while the men will begin Thursday, March 14 and end on Sunday, March 17.
Ticket booklets for the Sun Belt tournament are all-inclusive, including tickets for both the men's and women's tournaments at Lakefront Arena. Refunds will not be given and there will be no discounts on the packages in the event one of the teams don't make it to New Orleans.
Should Little Rock host one of the conference tournament play-in games at the Jack Stephens Center, season ticket holders already have their ticket for that game. Game day ticket information will be released at a later point should that scenario arise.
