LITTLE ROCK – For the third time in as many weeks, Little Rock will return to the track, this time heading north to South Bend, Indiana for the 32nd Meyo Invitational. Hosted by Notre Dame, the two-day event will be held Friday, February 1 and Saturday, February 2, at the Loftus Sports Center.

Little Rock will be one of 42 teams competing in the event and will be the lone Sun Belt Conference representative as more than 300 athletes are expected to compete over the two days. A portion of Saturday's events will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra, which is available on WatchESPN.com.
The 32nd Meyo Invitational gets underway with field events at 4 p.m. Friday, February 1, followed by running preliminaries starting at 4:30 p.m. and expecting to wrap up at approximately 9 p.m. Competition resumes with running event semifinals at 9:45 a.m., followed by field events at 10:30 a.m. The running event finals are expected to get underway at 2 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Little Rock will try to improve on another impressive performance as the Trojans notched 24 top-10 event finishes at the Arkansas State Invitational in Jonesboro last week. Paced by Charles Okeze winning the men's 400 meter dash with a mark of 48.75, the Little Rock women were led by
Shanieke Watson notching a runner-up showing in the mile with a time of 5:02.72.
Through three indoor meets this season, Little Rock has posted 59 top-10 individual event finishes with over a dozen personal records set. The meet in South Bend will be the last for a handful of Trojans before competing in the Sun Belt Conference Indoor Championships February 18-19 in Birmingham, Ala.
