COLUMBIA, Mo. – Malena Austerslaatt's 1-over 73 paced Little Rock on day two at the Johnie Imes Invitational as the Trojans sit 12th among the 15-team field. Little Rock shot a 19-over 307 over the second 18 holes and is at 37-over 613 through two rounds.

Little Rock's second day charge was led by Austerslaatt's 73, tied for the second lowest round of her career. The sophomore opened her round with a birdie on hole 10, finishing at 1-over on the back nine, before going even on the front nine with birdies on holes one and eight.
Kellie Gachaga finished her second round at 3-over 75, including a 1-over over the front nine. She remains in the hunt for her first career top-20 showing, sitting tied for 17th in the individual standings at 5-over 149.
Tilde Bocker posted a 5-over 77 in round two, upping her 36 hole total to 9-over 153 as she and Austerslaatt are currently tied for 34th at 9-over 153.
Thea Wakeford-Wesmann notched a 10-over 82 while
Sydney Scraba finished with a 12-over 84 in round two in Columbia.
With 18 holes remaining, Little Rock trails Southern Illinois (35-over 611) by two shots and is five strokes back of Missouri State (32-over 608) in 10th-place. The Trojans hold a six shot edge on Kansas City in 13th (43-over 619) as Little Rock seeks its first top-10 team showing of the season.
Host Missouri continues to hold the team lead at 3-over 579, holding a seven shot lead on second-place Oral Roberts' 10-over 586. Fresno State (16-over 592) sits third with Florida International and Northern Illinois tied for fourth in the team standings (22-over 598).
The final 18 holes of the 2019 Johnie Imes Invitational will get underway with an 8 a.m. shotgun start Wednesday morning. Little Rock will play with Missouri State and Southern Illinois in the final round groupings with live scoring available at
