History at Diamante
2019 marks the 13th-straight season Little Rock will hold its host event at Diamante, an event which has become one of the highlights of the season. The Trojans have won their host event, the last of which came in 2010, with Missouri State and Central Arkansas each winning the tournament twice. Last season, UCA outlasted Missouri State in the battle of the Bears to win the event with Western Kentucky's Megan Clarke capturing the individual title with a 4-under 212.

Last Time Out
A pair of personal-bests highlighted Little Rocks' trip to Jonesboro for the 2019 Lady Red Wolves Golf Classic October 14-15. Malena Austerslaatt notched a new career-low with a 4-over 220, earning her first career top-10 showing by tying for 10th, including a 3-under 69 in the final round. Thea Wakeford-Wesmann also posted a new career-best with a 9-over 225, including career-low 73s in both rounds one and two. She tied for 21st, just missing her first career top-20 showing.

Moving On Up
Little Rock continues to improve in the GolfStat team rankings, improving to 190 heading into this weekend's home event. The Trojans have posted three-straight top-10 team finishes, including finishing sixth at the Chris Banister Golf Classic and seventh at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, led by Malena Austerslaatt's team-best 75.75 scoring average, more than three strokes better than her 78.90 average as a freshman in 2018-19.

Looking Ahead
Following this week's event in Hot Springs Village, Little Rock will take a hiatus for the winter months before returning to action in February in Texas. The Trojans will hit the links for the first time in 2020 at the Texas State Invitational, being held February 10-11 at Plum Creek Golf Club in Kyle, Texas.
