Samantha Rolka Named to Academic All-District First Team

LITTLE ROCK – Samantha Rolka has been selected as a 2019 CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team member, a recognition only awarded to the nation's top student-athletes in each respective sport. The senior soccer player earned the honors due to both her academic and athletic performances.

Rolka boasts a perfect 4.0 grade-point-average while majoring in marketing. Last year, she was also named to the 2018-19 Sun Belt Commissioner's List.

On the field, Rolka started in all 19 games for the Trojans, accumulating the most minutes played out of the entire roster this season. The defender, a native of Canton, Georgia, helped the Trojans to eight clean sheets, a program-record six ties in a single season, and an unbeaten home conference slate.
