Little Rock will make its third trip of the season to the Lone Star state, this time heading to Houston for the Houston Baptist Husky Invitational March 18-19 at Riverbend Country Club.

Tournament Information
The 2019 HBU Husky Invitational will be a 54-hole tournament held at Riverbend Country Club – a par-72, 6,084 yard course located in Sugarland. The opening 36 holes will get underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start on Monday, March 18, followed by the final 18 holes on Tuesday, March 19, also with beginning with an 8:30 a.m shotgun start. Tournament Field
Little Rock is one of 12 teams competing in Houston this week as the Trojans will be joined by fellow Sun Belt foe ULM. Eight of the 12 teams are currently ranked in the latest GolfStat top-200, including Sam Houston State (No. 103), Houston Baptist (No. 115), Lamar (No. 122), James Madison (No. 151), Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (No. 161), UT Arlington (No. 178) and ULM (No. 184) joining the 193rd-ranked Trojans.

Bridgett Norwood will roll with her lineup consisting of one senior and four freshmen as Little Rock heads back to the Lone Star state. Senior
Emelie Blennow will once again occupy the number one spot for Little Rock, boasting a team-best scoring average of 75.09.

Trojans at the Husky Invitational
When the Trojans tee it up in Houston this weekend, it will mark Little Rock's first ever appearance at the HBU Husky Invitational and its first tournament in the Houston area since finishing second at the 2009 Sun Belt Conference Championship. Little Rock has teed it up in the Lone Star state twice this season, placing sixth at the UTA Women's Golf Classic in October before finishing 14th at the Texas State Invitational last month.

Last Time Out
Little Rock is coming off a 12th-place showing at the Spring Break Shootout in Dade City Florida, shooting a 57-over 909 at Lake Jovita Golf Club. The Trojans were paced by
Emelie Blennow, who tied for 30th overall with a 9-over 222, followed by
Malena Austerslaatt tying for 45th with a 13-over 226.

The Travels Continue
When the Trojans tee off at Riverbend Country Club, it will mark the third time this year Little Rock will make the trip to Texas, upping its total travel for the season to just over 9,200 miles. The Trojans have competed in six different states to date, a number that will increase to seven by the end of the season.

Moving Up the Charts
SeniorÂ
Emelie Blennow continues to move up the charts in the Trojan all-time record book. To date, she has played in 112 round for Little Rock, sitting tied for 11th overall, while her 77.18 career scoring average is tied for 10th all-time. Blennow has posted nine rounds of par-or-better in her career, which is 10th all-time, while her season scoring average of 75.09 would rank as the 11th-best in program history.

Looking Ahead
After this week in Texas, Little Rock will prepare for the final tune up before the Sun Belt Conference Championship, traveling to Memphis, Tennessee for the Memphis Tiger Invitational April 1-2 at Ridgeway Country Club.
