Swimming Earns CSCAA Scholar All-America Team Honors

LITTLE ROCK - For the 12th consecutive semester, the Little Rock swimming and diving team has been recognized by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic success during the spring 2019 semester, receiving Scholar All-America Team Honors. The Scholar All-America Team award is presented twice annually (fall and spring) to teams achieving a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Under head coach Amy Burgess, the Trojans posted an impressive grade point average of 3.676, up from 3.589 in the fall, to help Little Rock Trojan Athletics earn a department-wide cumulative GPA of 3.34. In addition, 10 student athletes recorded a perfect 4.0 in Spring 2019, the most of any Little Rock program.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) - the oldest organization of college coaches in America - is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
