Trojans Announce Addition of Brianna Crane

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach Joe Foley announced the addition of transfer Brianna Crane to the Trojans' program Thursday.

Crane joins Little Rock's Team after spending the last two seasons at Murray State where she averaged 7.1 points and 5.2 rebounds per game while averaging 26 minutes on the court.

"We found Brianna Crane in the portal as we were looking for a 3-4 type player and were fortunate to pick her up this time of year," Foley said. "Her addition is a good fit for both of us and we are excited to have her."

Last season at Murray State, Crane scored in double digits on eight different occasions including posting a season-high 20 points at Jacksonville State. This came after a freshman campaign where she was second in the Ohio Valley Conference with a 64 percent field goal percentage while averaging 7.2 points and 5.7 rebounds per game.

Crane is a Ramsey High School product out of Birmingham, Alabama that averaged 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in 2015-16 while leading her team to the state quarterfinals. NCAA transfer rules require Crane to sit out the 2019-20 season but she will have two seasons of eligibility following this upcoming year.

Little Rock, a program that has won 10 Sun Belt Conference championships in the last 12 years while winning at least 20 games in 12 of the last 13 seasons.
