Trojan Leaders
Doro Greulich and Fanney Einasdottir led the team with four goals apiece last season. Greulich also provided great service for the other attacking players, delivering a team-high seven assists last season. Sara Johannsdottir returns to her goalkeeper position where she made 81 saves a season ago. She will look to continue her great shot-blocking form as the Trojans return another talented defense.

Last Time Out
Mari Young was the standout performer in her first action as a Trojan, scoring a goal on her debut. Astros Luckas did well to hold up the ball at the edge of the penalty area before slipping a ball through to Young who was clinical with her chance, slotting the ball into the bottom right corner of the net.

Scouting the Tigers
Memphis comes into their first contest of the season ranked 20th by the United Soccer Coaches. In 2018, the Tigers finished second in the American Athletic Conference and earned an NCAA Tournament berth by defeating USF to clinch the AAC Tournament Championship. Finishing with a 17-4 overall record (7-2 AAC), the Tigers come into 2019 with high expectations.

Series History
Little Rock's matchup with Memphis marks the 11th meeting in the teams' history. The Tigers own an 8-2 series advantage with the last meeting coming in 2017 when Memphis grabbed a 3-0 win over the Trojans.

Looking Ahead
Little Rock will stay in Tennessee for their next match, taking on UT Martin for a 1 p.m. contest on Aug. 25.
