Trojans Begin 2019-20 Slate
Little Rock's trip to Alabama starts another challenging run for the Trojans, who will compete in 10 tournaments spanned across seven different states. Three of those states will be checked off the list during the fall with the Trojans competing in Alabama, Missouri and Arkansas, capped by the annual Little Rock Women's Golf Classic in Hot Springs Village.
Â
Welcome to the Rock
While the roster for Little Rock may look the same, the most noticeable change will come in the coaching ranks.
Jenna Wylie begins her first season as the Trojans' head coach, replacing Bridgett Norwood as the third head coach in program history. Wylie comes to Little Rock after two years as an assistant at Sun Belt foe Georgia Southern after two years as an assistant at Armstrong State, her alma mater. During her playing days with the Pirates, Wylie was a two-time first team All-American and the Peach Belt Player of the Year in 2013, ranking third nationally in scoring average.
Â
Looking Ahead
After the trip to Alabama this weekend, Little Rock heads north to Missouri for the 12th annual Johnie Imes Invitational. The event will be held September 30 through October 2 at Old Hawthorne Country Club.
