COLUMBIA, Mo. – Little Rock sits 10th after the first 18 holes of the Johnie Imes Invitational at The Club at Old Hawthorne. The Trojans posted an 18-over 306 in round one, sitting among a handful of teams vying for a top-five finish.

Little Rocks opening round was paced by a 2-over 74 from sophomore
Kellie Gachaga, who is tied for eighth among the 78-player field. Gachaga opened the day with a 2-over 38 on the front nine, then went even on the back nine, including a bogey on hole 12 and pars on the final seven holes to close out round one.
Tilde Bocker is second on the Little Rock scorecard with a 4-over 76, tied for 30th individually. She holds a one shot edge on
Thea Wakeford-Wesmann who carded a 5-over 77 in round one as the duo were both at 2-over 36 through the front nine.
Sydney Scraba posted a 7-over 79 over the first 18 holes while
Malena Austerslaatt posted an 8-over 80, sitting tied for 54th and 58th, respectively.
With 18 holes complete, Little Rock holds a three shot lead on Missouri State, Wichita State and Florida Gulf Coast, all of which are tied for 11th at 21-over 309. The Trojans are one shot back of both Mercer and Kansas City, tied for eighth at 17-over 305, and are three strokes behind Fresno State and Northern Illinois, tied for sixth at 15-over 303.
Host Missouri holds the team lead after round one at 2-over 290, leading second place Oral Roberts (8-over 296) by six strokes. Florida International (9-over 297) sits third with Arkansas State and Illinois State (13-over 301) tied for fourth, five shots better than the Trojans.
Tuesday's round two begins with 8 a.m. tee times as Little Rock will play with Missouri State and Wichita State in the round two groupings. Live scoring is available at BirdieFire.com.
