Sharde’ Collins Named to Little Rock 20th Anniversary Team

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock is honoring the modern era of its women's basketball program with the unveiling of its 20^th Anniversary Team recognizing the best of the best of the past 20 years. Sharde' Collins, the Sun Belt's 2017 Player of the Year, is the next Trojan great to be recognized.
 
A First Team All-Sun Belt honoree in addition to being named the league's Player of the Year in 2017, Collins ranks seventh in school history with a career 3-point field goal percentage of .342 while her 105 baskets made from beyond the arc also ranks ninth in school history. Currently the team's Director of Basketball Operations, Collins' 520 points scored in her senior campaign is the sixth most for a single season in school history while her 34 games played is a school record. Additionally, the 1,207 minutes played during the 2016-17 season ranks fourth most in a single year in Little Rock history.

In all, there will be 20 players announced as part of the Little Rock Women's Basketball 20^th Anniversary Team. Members of the team will be announced periodically throughout December and January leading up to the Trojans' Jan. 18 game against Arkansas State, where the entire team will be recognized during the game.
