Monique Townson Named to Little Rock 20th Anniversary Team

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock is honoring the modern era of its women's basketball program with the unveiling of its 20^th Anniversary Team recognizing the best of the best of the past 20 years. Monique Townson, a 2018 All-Sun Belt honoree, is the next Trojan to get recognized.
 
Townson holds the school record in both single-season career free throw percentages, shooting an .854 mark in the 2016-17 season with a .808 clip over her four-year career. She is also Little Rock's single-season minutes played leader, logging 1,232 minutes over the course of the 2016-17 season. Townson ranks fourth in school history in three-point percentage (.345), fourth in assists (384) and sixth in steals (161).

In all, there will be 20 players announced as part of the Little Rock Women's Basketball 20^th Anniversary Team. Members of the team will be announced periodically throughout December and January leading up to the Trojans' Jan. 18 game against Arkansas State, where the entire team will be recognized during the game.
