Marian Kursh Named to Little Rock 20th Anniversary Team

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock is honoring the modern era of its women's basketball program with the unveiling of its 20^th Anniversary Team recognizing the best of the best of the past 20 years. Marian Kursh, a 2012 All-Sun Belt honoree, is the next name to be recognized.
 
Kursh, the school's single-season field goal percentage leader, claimed that honor by shooting .573 (106 of 185) during the 2010-11 season and followed that up the next year by claiming second team All-Sun Belt and Sun Belt All-Tournament Team honors. She ranks third in school history in career rebounds (821), sixth in free throws made (260) and 10^th in points (1,112).

In all, there will be 20 players announced as part of the Little Rock Women's Basketball 20^th Anniversary Team. Members of the team will be announced periodically throughout December and January leading up to the Trojans' Jan. 18 game against Arkansas State, where the entire team will be recognized during the game.
