PINE MOUNTAIN, Ga. – A 1-over 72 from
Tilde Bocker paced Little Rock to a fifth-place showing after round one of the Callaway Gardens Invitational at the Lake View Course. The Trojans shot an 11-over 295 over the opening 18 holes and sit fifth among the 10-team field after round one.

Bocker's 72 is a new season-low for the junior and one off her career low round, recovering from a 3-over 39 on the front nine to shoot a 2-under 33 over the back nine. Bocker birdied 11, 12 and 17, cruising to the 1-over 72 and sitting tied for sixth among the individual standings.
Malena Austerslaatt and
Kellie Gachaga are both tied for 19th individually as the duo each carded a 3-over 74 over round one. Gachaga notched an eagle for Little Rock on the par-five 12th while Austerslaatt was solid throughout the day, finishing with 11 pars and a pair of birdies.
Sydney Scraba is tied for 26th after 18 holes with a 4-over 75, carding a 1-over 37 over the front nine to help Little Rock to a strong start.
Viktoria Krnacova rounds out the Little Rock scorecard with a 9-over 80, helping guide the Trojans into the middle of the pack.
The Trojans finish day one seven shots out of the lead, holding a two shot edge on South Alabama (13-over 297) and are five strokes better than Georgia Southern (16-over 300). The 295 is the second lowest round of the season for Little Rock, three shots back of the Trojans' 292 at the USA Intercollegiate on September 6.
Middle Tennessee holds the team lead at 4-over 288, one shot better than second place Central Arkansas (5-over 289). Troy and UAB are tied for third at 7-over 291 with the Trojans rounding out the top-five.
Tuesday's second round begins with an 8:50 a.m. tee time for the Trojans as Little Rock will play with UAB and South Alabama. Live scoring is available at
