Little Rock Inks Mikayla Eddins to National Letter of Intent

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach Joe Foley announced the signing of Mikayla Eddins to a National Letter of Intent Thursday.
 
Eddins was a first team all-district selection last season in her junior year, averaging 8.6 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 2.0 steals per game. She comes to Little Rock already with a championship mindset having helped guide her team to a Texas 6A State Championship her freshman season.
 
"We are very excited to add Mikayla to our basketball team," Foley said. "She is a very versatile player that can help us on both ends of the court with her offensive and defensive skills. We like her toughness and her ability to score the basketball, both inside and outside."
 
Eddins was her district's MVP last year as a junior as well as claiming first team all-district honors. She also plays for the DC Queens Select AAU team.
 
"Mikayla has been a versatile and solid all-around player for us all four years of her career," said Kelly Stallings, Plano's high school coach. "She can play and guard all five positions on the court, is a great rebounder and consistently hits big shots or helps us get big stops when we need them. She is an encouraging leader and teammate on and off the court. We are very excited for Mikki to continue to succeed at the next level with the Trojans!"
 
Little Rock is finalizing its non-conference schedule for both the men and women as well and will announce the complete schedules in the coming weeks. Season tickets are on sale by contacting the Trojan ticket office at (501) 565-8257.
 
Due to the limited number of seats available in the Jack Stephens Center this season, purchasing season tickets is the only guaranteed way to ensure seats at every Trojan home game as Little Rock competes for another Sun Belt Conference title.
