Opening Pitch
After a six game road trip, Little Rock returns to Gary Hogan Field for a three game weekend series against North Alabama. Game one is scheduled for Friday at 3 p.m., game two Saturday at 2 p.m. with the series finale Sunday at 1 p.m.

Last Time Out
Little Rock's bats went quiet in Stillwater, Oklahoma, scoring just one run on eight hits in the two combined game against 23rd-ranked Oklahoma State. The Trojans dropped the opener 9-1 Tuesday before falling 12-0 in seven innings Wednesday, managing just one hit.

Sun Belt Honors for Emshoff
Kale Emshoff was named the Sun Belt Conference Hitter of the Week Tuesday afternoon following a productive effort in five games last week. The junior catcher batted .556, going 9-for-17, with a pair of home runs and six RBI. Emshoff notched a slugging percentage of .882 as his week was highlighted by a 4-for-4 effort with a pair of homers against Nicholls Friday, including the game-winning two-run home run in the top of the 10th.

Scouting the Lions
North Alabama is 2-7 on the year but is coming off a 1-0 combined no-hitter over Belmont Tuesday afternoon. The win snapped a five-game losing streak, including getting swept in a four game series at Northwestern State. North Alabama is batting .195 as a team, led by Kevin Brenning's .281 average with a team-high three RBI. The Lion pitching staff has an ERA of 4.40 while allowing an opponent batting average of .229.

Series History
Little Rock and North Alabama have met just once previously with the Trojans earning a 12-11 victory in 10 innings in Little Rock on March 10, 1982. This is the first current member of the Atlantic Sun the Trojans will face since a 2-1 victory over Jacksonville in Little Rock on April 19, 1998.

Five Things to Know:

1. Kale Emshoff enters the weekend series with the longest current hitting streak, registering at least one hit in four-straight games. The longest hitting streak of the season thus far for Little Rock is Miguel Soto, who had at least two hits in the first seven games of the season.

2. The one-two-three punch of Soto, Emshoff and Nathan Lyons continues to pace the Trojans at the plate. All three are batting .382 or better, led by Soto's .395 with a team-best seven RBI. Lyons is hitting .390, leading the team with 16 hits, while Emshoff is at .382 with a .559 slugging percentage.

3. Tyler Williams is already making a name for himself on the base paths, leading the Trojans with four stolen bases through 10 tames in 2020. The freshman is batting .214 and has registered the lone triple of the year for Little Rock.

4. After seeing a handful of pitchers take to the mound over the last three games, Little Rock is expected to settle back into its weekend rotation of Hayden Arnold, Eli Sievert and Aaron Funk. Arnold is the staff leader with a 1.80 ERA and 18 strikeouts while Jose Torres has been a key member in his new role out of the bullpen, posting a 2.08 ERA in 8.2 innings with 15 strikeouts.

5. Little Rock is 3-1 at Gary Hogan Field this season, its best start through four games on its home field since starting the 2017 season 6-1. The Trojans schedule will start to get home heavy over the next few weeks as Little Rock will play 8 of its next 12 games at Gary Hogan Field.
