Tournament Information
The 2020 Texas State Invitational will be held Monday, February 10 and Tuesday, February 11 at Plum Creek Golf Club in Kyle, Texas – a par-72 course measuring 6,290 yards. The 54-hole event will be split over two days, beginning with 36 holes Monday and 18 holes Tuesday, getting underway with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start each day. Live results will be available through

Tournament Field
Little Rock is one of 15 teams competing in this year's event in Texas State and is one of four Sun Belt Conference schools, joined by host Texas State, ULM and UT Arlington. Seven of the 15 schools competing are currently ranked among the GolfStat Top-150 with Texas State (No. 78), Rutgers (No. 80) and UT San Antonio (No. 93) sitting among the top-100. Oral Roberts (No. 107), Houston Baptist (No. 127), Sam Houston State (No. 129) and Marshall (No. 135) comprise the remainder of the top 150 teams.

Texas State Invitational History
The trip to central Texas has been a staple of the Little Rock schedule to begin the spring season with this year's tournament marking the Trojans' seventh-straight year competing in the event. Little Rock has finished among the top-five three times, including tying for first in 2015. Last year, Little Rock placed 14th as
Kellie Gachaga and
Tilde Bocker tied for 37th individually.

Fall Recap
Little Rock competed in five events during the fall season, registering three top-10 team finishes. The Trojans finished sixth at the Chris Banister Golf Classic and seventh at the Lady Red Wolves Classic. Nearly every Trojan set a new 18, 36 and 54 hole individual record as well as notching their best individual finishes.
Malena Austerslaatt had the best individual showing, tying for 10th at the Lady Red Wolves Classic, while
Kellie Gachaga and
Sydney Scraba each posted top-20 showings as well, the first of their careers.

Road Warriors
Six tournaments await Little Rock in the spring season, a challenging slate that will take the Trojans to four different states. After this week's trip to Texas, Little Rock travels to Arizona, followed by two-straight tournaments in Florida. Little Rock's final event of the pre-conference season is a trip to LSU in Louisiana before returning to Florida for the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Championships, being held in Daytona Beach April 20-22.

Looking Ahead
After competing in Texas State's host tournament, Little Rock will have nearly two weeks off before returning to action in Arizona at the Rio Verde Invitational. Hosted by Western Michigan, the annual trip for the Trojans will be held February 21-23 at Rio Verde Country Club.
