Â
Little Rock will be facing the Mountaineers in Lafayette, Louisiana at the CajunDome. Game time is set for 3 p.m. CT and all Sun Belt Tournament games will be broadcast live on ESPN+ until the Championship Game, which will air live on ESPN3. Tickets for the contest will go on sale Monday morning.
Â
The winner will advance to Wednesday's quarterfinal round to face the winner of the No. 4 Louisiana vs. No. 9 Georgia Southern game. That contest is set for 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
Â
Appalachian State is coming off an 83-80 double overtime win over Coastal Carolina in Conway, upending the Chanticleers and preventing Coastal from claiming at least a share of the regular season title as well as the No. 1 seed.
Â
Final seedings and pairings for the 2020 Sun Belt Conference Tournament came down to the last game of the regular season when Troy beat Arkansas State, 91-81, in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Â
The Trojans and Appalachian State met only once during the regular season, a 68-63 win for Little Rock at home in the Jack Stephens Center.
Â
Little Rock is 13-0 all-time against Appalachian State and this will be the fourth meeting in four years between the two teams on a neutral court in the Sun Belt Tournament.
