LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Dariel Johnson, the all-time leading rebounder at Pasadena City College and the only women's basketball player in the California Community College Athletic Association to record a triple-double where blocks were a component, as signed a National Letter of Intent to play at Little Rock, Trojans Head Coach

The 6-foot-1 forward originally from Pasadena, California joins Little Rock's Team starting with the 2020-21 season. She joins the Trojans after setting several records at Pasadena City College, including a school record 12 blocks recorded in a single game.

"Dariel will bring experience and versatility to our team," Foley said of his newest signee. "She has the ability to affect the game in a lot of different ways and has done some pretty impressive things the last two years at PCC. Her enthusiasm and excitement about being a part of our program and coming to Little Rock will also have a positive impact for the upcoming year."

Those 12 blocks came in the same game as she scored 28 points and grabbed 18 rebounds, becoming the first woman in CCCAA history to register a triple-double where blocks were a component. She ended her JuCo career averaging 14.1 points, 15.4 rebounds and 3.9 blocks per game.

Johnson claimed her league's Player of the Year honors last season while garnering Freshman of the Year honors the season prior. She was the all-time leading rebounder at Pasadena City College while finishing as the 13
th all-time scorer at PCC.
