Mueller, Trojans Tied For Ninth After Day One in Washington

TACOMA, Wash. – Little Rock sits among a four-way tie for ninth after the opening two rounds of the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational at Tacoma Country Club. The Trojans tallied a 35-over 611 through 36 holes, seeking their second top-10 team finish of the season.

Little Rock opened the day with a 19-over 309, led by a 3-over 75 from both Katja Mueller and Viktoria Krnacova. Agatha Alesson added a 4-over 76 with Malena Austerslaatt's 9-over 81 the fourth and final counting score for the Trojans in round one.
 
Round two saw the Trojans shave three shots off its first round total, posting a 16-over 304 to slide into the tie for ninth. Mueller continued her strong play with a 1-over 73 in the afternoon round while Tilde Bocker posted a 4-over 76, shaving nine strokes off her opening round total. Krnacova posted a 5-over 77 and a 6-over 78 from Alesson closed out the Little Rock scorecard.
 
Mueller enters Tuesday's final round tied for ninth in the individual standings with a 4-over 148, five shots out of first place. Krnacova is tied for 29th with her 8-over 150 while Alesson sits tied for 42nd at 10-over 154.
 
Little Rock heads to the final 18 holes in a four-way tie with UC Irvine, High Point and Idaho tied for ninth, three shots back of eighth place South Dakota (32-over). The quartet has a chance to make a move on Tuesday's final round, sitting seven shots back of fourth-place Boise State (28-over 604), six back of fifth place Gonzaga (29-over 605), five strokes behind sixth-place North Dakota State (30-over 606) and four shots behind seventh-place California Baptist (31-over 607).
 
Host Seattle holds the team lead at 6-over 582, nine shots better than second-place Santa Clara (15-over 591). Utah Valley (18-over 594) is third, followed by the Broncos and Bulldogs to round out the top-five.
 
Tuesday's final round gets underway with a 10 a.m. CT shotgun start in the Pacific Northwest as Little Rock will play with Idaho, UC Irvine and High Point in the final round groupings, teeing off from holes seven through 10. Live scoring is available at BirdieFire.com.
