History Little Rock vs. Louisiana
Opening Draw
Little Rock begins the home stretch of the 2021 season with a trip south to Lafayette, Louisiana, taking on the Ragin' Cajuns Thursday evening. Opening draw against Louisiana is set for 7 p.m. at the Ragin' Cajun Soccer Complex.

Last Time Out
Little Rock struck first against rival Arkansas State Sunday at the Coleman Sports Complex behind a goal from Karina De Paoli in the 20th minute. But the Red Wolves responded less than 30 seconds later, then took advantage of a pair of second half opportunities to hand the Trojans the 3-1 loss. The three goals surrendered by Little Rock was the most on the season, suffering just its second home defeat on the year.

On the Road Again
Little Rock's tilt at Louisiana Thursday night marks the Trojans' ninth road game of the year as Little Rock has been efficient in games away from the Coleman Sports Complex. The Trojans are 5-3 on the road this season, outscoring the opposition 14-6 with all but three of their goals on the year coming in road games.

Scouting the Ragin' Cajuns
Louisiana heads into Thurday night's game with Little Rock with an overall record of 5-8-1 and 2-3-1 mark in Sun Belt play, coming off a double overtime draw at Georgia Southern Sunday. The Ragin' Cajuns are averaging 1.21 goals per game while allowing 1.93, led by four goals and four assists from Karleen Bedre with Tatum Beck adding three goals. Thursday is the 23rd all-time meeting between the Trojans and Ragin' Cajuns with Little Rock holding a 6-12-4 all-time record. The Trojans are seeking their first win over Louisiana since a 3-0 win in 2018, posting a 3-6-1 all-time mark in Lafayette.

The Chase For Foley
With two weeks remaining in the regular season, Little Rock and Louisiana are among a handful of teams jockeying for position for the 2021 Sun Belt Tournament in Foley, Alabama. The Trojans are 2-2-2 in league play for eight points, sitting sixth in the standings, while the Ragin' Cajuns are tied for seventh with seven points, even with Coastal Carolina and ULM. Following Thursday's game in Lafayette, Little Rock closes out the regular season at home against Georgia State, followed by road matches at Coastal Carolina and App State.

Defensive Minded
Heading into this Thursday's game, Little Rock has allowed just 12 goals on the season for a 0.81 goals against average, ranking second in the Sun Belt. The Trojans have posted eight shoutouts in 14 games this season, entering the week tied for eighth nationally behind the 10 from Wake Forest, Virginia, Washington State and Milwaukee and nine from Indiana, Pepperdine and Tennessee. Little Rock is 18th nationally in shutout percentage (.571) and 58th in goals against average (0.814).

In the Record Book
Fifth-year defender Bergros Asgeirsdottir has etched her name among the all-time leader in the Trojan record book in three different categories this season. Asgeirsdottier is now the all-time Little Rock leader in games played (90), minutes played (7,845) and career starts (84), passing Jane Picarelli (2007-10) as the all-time leader in all three categories.

Spreading the Wealth
Little Rock has had a balanced attack this season as the Trojans' 17 goals on the year have been scored by 11 different players. Jana Heinen leads the squad with four goals and a pair of assists while Bergros Asgeirsdottir and Fanney Einarsdottir have both found the back of the net twice. Karina De Paoli netted her first career goal Sunday against Arkansas State, putting in a rebound off a shot from Abril Lucio to give the Trojans the 1-0 lead.
