Home Sweet Home
Little Rock enters Sunday's match with a 1-2-3 mark at home this season, including a 1-1-2 mark in Sun Belt play. The Trojans earned a 1-0 win over Troy on September 17, followed by a 1-1 double overtime draw against South Alabama on September 19 and a 0-0 double overtime draw against Georgia Southern on September 26 before falling to Arkansas State 3-1 last Sunday. Since taking over the helm of the Little Rock soccer program in 2018, head coach Mark Foster has posted a 15-7-8 (.633) record at the Coleman Sports Complex.

Last Time Out
Little Rock stumbled on a Thursday night in south Louisiana, falling 3-0 to Louisiana in Lafayette. Louisiana held a 15-11 edge in shots, putting 10 shots on goal compared to just three for Little Rock. Julia Edholm led the way with four shots on the night, followed by three from Jana Heinen and one each from four other players, including the shot on goal by Bergros Asgeirsdottir. Freshman Paige Henry registered seven saves on the night.

Scouting the Panthers
Georgia State enters Sunday's game with an overall record of 8-3-5 and 3-1-4 in Sun Belt play, sitting fourth in the league standings with 13 points. One of the league's strongest offensive teams, the Panthers have scored 33 goals on the year, averaging 2.06 per game, led by six from Brooklynn Fugel and four from Maddie Johnston as 14 different players have tallied at least one goal. Defensively, Georgia State is allowing 1.44 goals per game, using a pair of goalkeepers.

Series History
Little Rock and Georgia State meet for the 10th time Sunday with the Trojans holding a 6-2-1 edge in the series, including a 4-1 mark in Little Rock. The Panthers earned a 1-0 decision last season in Atlanta, snapping a six game unbeaten streak for the Trojans, as Georgia State's lone win in Little Rock was a 3-1 decision in 2013.

The Chase For Foley
With a little over one week remaining in the regular season, Little Rock and Georgia State are among a handful of teams jockeying for position for the 2021 Sun Belt Tournament in Foley, Alabama. The Trojans are 2-3-2 in league play for eight points, sitting ninth in the standings, while the Panthers are fourth with 13 points. Following Sunday's match, Little Rock closes out the regular season on the road at Coastal Carolina (tied for sixth with 10 points) and at App State (11th with zero points).

Closing in on 8,000
Fifth-year defender Bergros Asgeirsdottir will look to reach another impressive milestone Sunday as she sits just 65 minutes shy of surpassing 8,000 in her Little Rock career. Asgeirsdottir has already etched her name among the all-time leader in the Trojan record book in three different categories this season, leading the program in  games played (91), minutes played (7,935) and career starts (85) passing Jane Picarelli (2007-10) as the all-time leader in all three categories.

Spreading the Wealth
Little Rock has had a balanced attack this season as the Trojans' 17 goals on the year have been scored by 11 different players. Jana Heinen leads the squad with four goals and a pair of assists while Bergros Asgeirsdottir and Fanney Einarsdottir have both found the back of the net twice. Karina De Paoli netted her first career goal Sunday against Arkansas State, putting in a rebound off a shot from Abril Lucio to give the Trojans the 1-0 lead.

Trojan Stat Leaders
With just over a week left in the regular season, Little Rock has been led offensively by Jana Heinen, who leads the team in both goals (four) and points (10), sitting second in assists with two. Bergros Asgeirsdottir and Fanney Einarsdottir both have a pair of goals on the year with Abril Lucio leading the Trojans with three assists. Heinen is one of three Trojans to post over 20 shots this year, leading the team with 27, while also posting a team-best 14 shots on goal.
