Opening Draw
Little Rock spends the final weekend of the regular season on the road, traveling to the Carolinas for a pair of road matchups. The Trojans take on Coastal Carolina in Conway, South Carolina, at 6 p.m. CT, Friday before traveling to Boone, North Carolina, for the regular season finale against App State at 12 p.m. on Sunday.

Last Time Out
Trailing with 10 minutes remaining in regulation, Little Rock scored twice in the final nine minutes, including the game-tying goal from Karina De Paoli with just over a minute remaining in regulation to earn a 2-2 double overtime draw with Georgia State in the home finale. Trailing 1-0 in the 81st minute, Little Rock evened the match off a strong play in front of the net as Skylar Garner sent a pass from just inside the near post into the middle of the box, knocked home off the left foot of Mariella Stephens to even the game at 1-1. Georgia State responded three minutes later, but the Trojans would respond again as Stephens was on the giving end this time, sending a pass to De Paoli who was settled 20 yards to the right of the goal, firing a shot high that hooked just into the upper left corner with 1:09 remaining to even the match at 2-2.

History Little Rock vs. App State

On the Road Again
Little Rock's tilt at Coastal Carolina and at Appalachian State marks the Trojans' 10th and 11th road game of the year as Little Rock has been efficient in games away from the Coleman Sports Complex. The Trojans are 5-4 on the road this season, outscoring the opposition 14-9 with all but five of their goals on the year coming in road games.

Scouting the Chanticleers
Coastal Carolina enters the weekend at 5-7-2 overall and 3-4-1 in Sun Belt play, tied for seventh in the league standings with 10 points. The Chanticleers are averaging 0.93 goals per game, led by reigning Player of the Week Megan Brouse's six goals on the year, complemented by three from Sarah Allen. The Trojans are seeking their first-ever win against the Chanticleers, sitting at 0-2-3 in five all-time meetings. Little Rock travels to Conway for the first time ever, as the two teams played in Kennesaw, Georgia in 2018 due to the ramifications of Hurricane Florence.

Scouting the Mountaineers
App State enters the weekend at 4-10-1 overall and 0-8 in Sun Belt play on the year, averaging 0.93 goals per game while allowing 1.47. Brecklyn Monteith leads the Mountaineers with five goals on the year while Carly Lantz has added three. Little Rock and App State have met seven times previously, splitting the series at 3-3-1. The Trojans have won three of the last four, including last year's 2-1 win in Little Rock, posting a 1-1-1 mark all-time in Boone.

The Chase For Foley
Heading into the final weekend of the regular season, Little Rock, Coastal Carolina and App State are among a handful of teams jockeying for position for the 2021 Sun Belt Tournament in Foley, Alabama. The Trojans are 2-3-3 in league play for nine points, sitting ninth in the standings, while the Chanticleers are tied for seventh with 10 points, just ahead of the Trojans. App State is still seeking its first points in league play on the season, sitting at 0-8 overall.

Eclipsing 8,000
Fifth-year defender Bergros Asgeirsdottir reached another impressive career milestone Sunday, playing all 110 minutes to surpass 8,000 in her Little Rock career. Asgeirsdottir has already etched her name among the all-time leader in the Trojan record book in three different categories this season, leading the program in  games played (92), minutes played (8,045) and career starts (86) passing Jane Picarelli (2007-10) as the all-time leader in all three categories.

Spreading the Wealth
Little Rock has had a balanced attack this season as the Trojans' 19 goals on the year have been scored by 11 different players. Jana Heinen leads the squad with four goals and a pair of assists while Bergros Asgeirsdottir, Fanney Einarsdottir, Mariella Stephens and Karina De Paoli have each scored twice this season for the Trojans. Stephens and De Paoli each tallied a goal in the 2-2 double overtime draw against Georgia State Sunday.
