Little Rock Inks Faith Lee to National Letter of Intent

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock Head Women's Basketball Coach Joe Foley announced the signing of Faith Lee to a National Letter of Intent Wednesday.

Lee, a 6-foot-0 forward from Monroe, Louisiana, signs her NLI after a junior season at Ouachita Parish High School where she averaged 14 points, six rebounds, four assists and three steals while guiding her team to a 13-8 mark.

"Faith is a great athlete, a very versatile player that can score in a lot of different ways and she plays with a lot of intensity on both ends of the floor," Foley said of his newest signee. "We are very excited to add her to our basketball team."

Lee was a first team all-district, All-Northeast Louisiana and all-parish honoree last year that also claimed all-state honorable mention honors. She was also her team's offensive player of the year and was an all-region and the region's most outstanding runner honoree in track and field.

"Faith Lee is an outstanding athlete that has the ability to be successful in any sport she so chooses," said Chrissy Givens, head girls' basketball coach of Ouachita Parish. "However, more important is her character and willingness to always push to be better in life, academics and athletics."

The signing marks the first of the early signing period and of the year for Foley and his program.

Little Rock is back at home Thursday evening to continue a three-game homestand when Memphis visits the Jack Stephens Center at 6:30 p.m.
