Opening Tee
After more than a month off, Little Rock returns to the course with its third trip to Alabama this season. The Trojans will compete in the UAB Spring Invitational Monday, March 15 and Tuesday, March 16 in Birmingham.

Tournament Information
The 2021 UAB Spring Break Invitational will be held at Greystone Country Club, a par-72, 6,096-yard course on the southeast side of Birmingham. The 54-hole tournament will be held over two days with the first two rounds played on Monday, March 15 and the final round Tuesday, March 16. Monday's round will begin with tee times off 1 and 10, beginning at 8:30 a.m., with Tuesday's round starting with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start. Live scoring is available at

Tournament Field
Little Rock is one of 11 teams competing in Birmingham this week and is the lone Sun Belt Conference school among the field. Middle Tennessee (No. 95) is the top-ranked team competing as the Trojans (No. 143) are one of six teams among the GolfStat Top-150, joined by the Blue Raiders, Xavier (No. 106), Jacksonville State (No. 119), High Point (No. 127) and UAB (No. 132).

Little Rock's lineup at the UAB Spring Invitational will be led by
Kellie Gachaga playing the number one position, followed by
Malena Austerslaatt competing in her first event of the spring.

Last Time Out
Viktoria Krnacova notched her first career top-10 finish as Little Rock notched an 8-over 296 over the final 18 holes to finish eighth at the Texas State Invitational on February 9. The Trojans finished the spring opener with a 34-over 898, their best team score of the 2020-21 season. Krnacova carded a 2-under 70 over the final round, a new career-best and the second-lowest round of the season for the Trojans.

Back to Bama
Little Rock is getting familiar with the drive to Alabama this season as this week's event will mark the Trojan's third tournament in the Yellowhammer State in 2020-21. Little Rock opened the year with a sixth-place showing at the South Alabama Intercollegiate in Mobile, then fnished 10th at the Hoover Invitational in Hoover, both of which were in September. After this week's event, the Trojans will stay in Alabama, traveling down to Gulf Shores for the Bama Beach Bash Friday through Sunday.

Shooting Low
Viktoria Krnacova's 2-under 70 was the fifth individual par-or-better round of the year for Little Rock and the second-lowest of the season.
Malena Austerslaatt has gone par-or-better three times this year, including a 69 at the Hoover Invitational, while
Sydney Scraba posted a 71 in the second round of the USA Intercollegiate.
